Our therapy programs generally fall into one of three categories:
Pain Relief Many forms of pain, from severe headaches to joint pain, have a muscular or orthopedic origin. And, in many cases, rest and immobility is not enough. A therapy program designed to correct the underlying cause of the problem is necessary. The key is to understand how the muscular, skeletal, and nervous systems interact and affect each other. Simply rehabilitating a single nerve or muscle is seldom sufficient. That is why we develop a comprehensive therapy plan that addresses both direct and indirect sources of the pain. |
Rehabilitation & Recovery When you've been injured in an athletic, occupational, or personal accident, you want to do more than manage the immediate pain. You want to recover your full functionality. Unlike other clinics, therefore, we won't just stick you on a weight machine, which develops only isolated muscle. Rather, we use low-impact muscle toning and comprehensive motion exercise to insure that full functionality is restored with a minimum of stress and discomfort. |

Injury Prevention Whether you're an athlete or an office worker, the best time to prevent pain and injury is beforehand. We will assess the risks you face and develop a therapy program to both prevent injury and enhance your performance. Athletes, in particular, need to understand the functional processes involved in their sport. In addition to preventing injury, our multi-faceted therapy programs help the athlete to maximize his or her athletic potential.
